Install Daylight as an app

Daylight works like an app even without one in an app store. Here's how to add it to your home screen or desktop.
There's no app-store app — this is the install
Daylight isn't published on the App Store or Google Play. Instead, the website itself can be installed like an app: its own icon on your home screen or desktop, opening in its own window with no browser tabs or address bar around it.
On iPhone or iPad
Open Daylight in Safari (this only works in Safari, not Chrome or another iOS browser), tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen, then choose Add to Home Screen.
On Android
In Chrome, look for an install icon in the address bar, or open the browser menu (⋮) and choose Install app (sometimes shown as Add to Home screen). Chrome often offers this itself after you've visited a few times.
On a computer
In Chrome or Edge, look for an install icon at the right edge of the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose Install Daylight.
What actually changes
Nothing about your account or your entries — it's still the same Daylight, same login. Installing just gives you a faster way to open it: tap the icon and you're straight in, without opening a browser first.
